when, small Independent TV stations with no local news operation relied on the Independent News Network for the
day's news. Heard here is the theme from the nightly newscast "USA Tonight".
This newscast originated from WPIX New York. This theme was used in the late
1980's.

This theme package was used by WUHF in the 1980's for IDs, promos, and for the
Cinema 31 movie showings.

WUHF
started using "News Source" in 1998 when they launched their local news
operation. "News Source" was used on WUHF until December 2002.
"Sinclair

WUHF started using the "Sinclair News Music Package" in December of 2002. This
package was made exclusively for stations that are owned by the Sinclair
Broadcast Group. WUHF stopped carrying NewsCentral on August 31, 2005.
"NewsEdge"

In August 2005, WUHF entered into a joint sales and shared services agreement
with the Nexstar Broadcasting Group. WUHF studios and offices moved into the
current WROC-TV Channel 8 building on Humboldt Street. WROC launched a brand new
10:00 newscast on WUHF on November 1, 2005. They call it "FOX First at Ten" and
Stephen Arnold's "NewsEdge" is used as the main theme music. In late
December 2006, this theme was replaced by Gari Communications' "Evolution"
"Daily News" by Gari Communications, Inc.

This theme package was released in late 2006 to all Sinclair-owned television
stations. RNYN is currently in search of this entire theme package. Please send
