This theme has been around since 1970 and is still used to this day in some cities. WOKR used "Move Closer" in the 1970's. "Hello News" by Gari Communications, Inc. >Listen to "Hello News" as heard on WOKR >Listen to "Hello Rochester" as heard on WOKR (provided as a courtesy from 13 WHAM-TV) In 1982 WOKR introduced the "Hello News" package. This theme was used in many television markets and often was accompanied by the popular image campaign. WOKR used "Hello News" until 1988. At one point the station used a theme that incorporated both the "Hello News" and "Great News" signatures into a single cut.
